Introduction to the Burton Freestyle Area Snowpark

The Burton Freestyle Area snowpark in Vítkovice in the Krkonoše Mountains, which is part of the Aldrov ski resort, is rightfully considered the best snowpark in the Czech Republic by the freestyle community. Although we have always avoided comparisons, we simply do what we love and strive to do it in close cooperation with the Aldrov ski resort as best as we can.

The original Jizerka run, over 900 m long, has been gradually optimized over the 15 years of the snowpark’s existence so that full-fledged freestyle snowboarding and freeskiing can be practiced there at any riding level. All feature and jump platforms are built from earth berms and, during the winter season, are topped up with snow in order to minimize manufactured-snow consumption. The snowpark has its own rope tow, snowmaking system, and daily grooming by a snowcat and Freestyle Area shapers is a matter of course.

Every year the snowpark holds numerous events for both the general public and professional riders. We also organize instructional snowboard camps and run a related sports club with regular training sessions. A high-quality snowpark with daily maintenance, safe features and jumps, a relaxed community and riding progression for everyone regardless of age, gender or experience. Instructional Snowboard CampsEffective freestyle snowboarding instruction for the general public in the form of multi‐day camps led by professional riders and licensed instructors in the always‐prepared Burton Freestyle Area snowpark. The camps include accommodation, half‐board, coaching/video coaching, a lift pass, themed workshops and competitions. The snowboard camps are open to everyone regardless of age, gender or previous experience—the only requirements are basic snowboarding skills and the ability to use a rope tow.

Freestyle Area Academy Sports ClubThe snowpark in Vítkovice in the Krkonoše Mountains provides ideal conditions for freestyle snowboarding training, which is why the snowpark also has its own sports club. We focus on young snowboarders, whether their ambitions are competitive and race‐oriented or they just want to have fun in a good crew while learning new tricks. Regular snowboard training sessions take place every Saturday and Sunday throughout the season, and although we’re based in the best snowpark, we sometimes venture to nearby resorts.
